An Evening with Vice Admiral Al Konetzni, Jr.
The St. Marys Submarine Museum and The Camden Partnership will present An Evening with Vice Admiral Al Konetzni, Jr., USN (Retired) on Thursday evening, March 22nd from 6:30 to 8:30 p.m. at the St. Marys Submarine Museum.
Admiral Konetzni is the former commander, Submarine Force United States Pacific Fleet, and Deputy Commander, Fleet Forces Command.
Al will speak on "War Under the Sea," a unique and historical presentation of some of the untold stories of the undersea operations of the COLD WAR with the Soviet Union that can only be told by this highly decorated Submarine Officer who was at the tip of the spear as our nation fought this epic struggle.
Proceeds from the evening will support the work of the St. Marys Submarine Museum in the acquisition, preservation and improved displays of submarine related artifacts, as well as the advocacy work of The Camden Partnership in support of Naval Submarine Base Kings Bay.
The cost to attend is $50.00 per person which includes heavy hors d'oeuvres and an Open Bar.
