THURSDAY, OCTOBER 10, AT THE TRIPLEX ON THE BASE
Mayor John Morrissey of St. Marys will be our guest speaker for this dinner starting at 5:30 pm for the usual social hour, followed by dinner at 6:30 pm. Brimley’s will cater a buffet for us. First elected to the City Council in 2010, John F. Morrissey assumed the office of mayor in 2014. He will share with us his thoughts on all he has been involved with and done for the city, and this event will give him an opportunity to share his thoughts about our city, his long tenure in office, the role of the Navy as a community partner, and perhaps what lies ahead for him. We shall also vote on new by-laws for our council.
Access to the Kings Bay TRIPLEX: If you are a member of the Kings Bay Council and DO NOT have Base access, you can obtain a special one-year access badge. Please contact our Membership VP, Vicki Nicholson at vjnich@gmail.com and she will help you through the process. Note that spouses or other guests that don’t have access cannot be escorted with the special badges. Spouses can affiliate with the Council under our Family Plan and obtain their own badge. Again, contact Vicki for help.
