The Naval Sea Cadet Corps is an important part of the Navy League. The training and education provided to NSCC cadets prepare them exceptionally well for whatever career field they choose. Moreover, the discipline, core values and teamwork these cadets learn will for the basis of their lives as future citizens and leaders in their communities.

The Camden – Kings Bay Council actively supports the Kings Bay Division of the United States Naval Sea Cadet Corps.

Our Council also supports the Great Portage Race (GPR), an area-wide orienteering Naval Sea Cadet Corps event sponsored by the Navy League Charleston Council. The GPR is held each year at Dreher Island State Park, South Carolina. Our Council supports this program annually with a financial contribution and manpower to help organize and manage the event.

The Navy Junior Reserve Officer Training Corps instills in students in United States secondary educational institutions the values of citizenship, service to the United States, personal responsibility, and a sense of accomplishment.

The Camden – Kings Bay Council is proud to support the Camden County High School Navy Junior Reserve Officer Training Corps.
