Annual Sunset Cruise June 16, 2023 6:00pm-8:30pm This annual event is being renewed after a three-year absence due to COVID. The Cumberland Queen II will depart from US Park Service/Cumberland Island Ferry dock in St. Marys at 6:00 PM sharp, on Friday, June 16th, returning about 8:30. The cruise will take us down the St. Marys River to Cumberland Sound, towards the Kings Bay Naval Submarine Base then back to St. Marys. The evening will include a buffet meal, a cash bar operated by sailors from one of our submarines to benefit their MWR fund. This is a great opportunity to interact with civic, Kings Bay Leadership Team, sailors, fellow Navy League members and guests. The “hat will be passed” for additional support for the ship’s crew. The price for the cruise and dinner is $40 per person. Since this event is so popular and space is limited, this event is available to Navy League members and their guests.
