Major Update to November 9, 2023 Navy League Dinner Due to double-booking at the Osprey Cove Clubhouse our dinner will be at the Osprey Cove River Club (Directions to the River Club are at the end of this invitation) The Buffet dinner will include Chicken, Fish, Vegetable, Pasta or Rice, Rolls/Butter and Dessert The Tiki Bar will be open for beverages New Price: $20.00 The program will feature a panel of four Petty Officers from Kings Bay: BM1 Jon Adams, USCG, Boatswain Mate from the USCG Force Protection Unit MT2(SS) Nickie Valderrama, USN, Missile Technician, now serving aboard TTF STS2 (SS) Braden C. Vincent, USN, Sonar Technician, USS Wyoming (Blue) MMN2 (SS) Hunter Weavil, USN, Machinist Mate, Nuclear Power, USS Wyoming (Blue) This panel of non-commissioned officers of the Kings Bay community will share stories and experiences as they and their shipmates get the SSBNs to sea and conduct the deterrence patrols. Directions to the Osprey Cove River Club: (GPS: 1114 Birdsong Trail, St. Marys, GA 31558) Enter Osprey Cove through the West Gate and proceed straight toward the Clubhouse. At the “Y” intersection before the Clubhouse, bear right and continue past the parking lots, across the concrete bridge and make the first left turn onto Osprey Circle. Continue on Osprey Circle and make the second left turn onto Birdsong Trail. The River Club is on the right, almost at the end of Birdsong Trail. Enter the parking lot just past the tennis courts. You and your spouse are welcome - even if you aren't a Navy League member (although we will try to convince you to join). Reservation are required.
