Lake City, FL VA July Trip Request for Donations

Jim Potter | Published on 5/16/2021

On July 8, 2021 members of our Council will travel to the Lake City, FL Veterans Affairs Medical Center (VAMC)
to visit with the hospitalized veterans, deliver donated supplies, and host their Bingo Games.

As always when we visit the medical center the main mission is to spend time with our vets. However just as with last year’s visits in July and December 2020 - due to COVID restrictions we may not be permitted to enter the medical facility this year on 7/8. Even if we can’t visit the veterans at the medical facility it doesn’t stop us from delivering some much needed supplies to the VAMC. The medical center is requesting donations of the items listed below.

Jeannie Straight

1002 Brown Thrasher Point

We're asking that all donation items and checks be received by June 30 as we'll need time to shop for items using the money from any donated checks that we receive.

Thanking you in advance for your tax-deductible help with, and support for, this great Council activity. Also thank you for supporting the men and women of the United States Sea Services who have given us so much.
